With direct access to Arizona State University, every ASU Prep student works with a Learning Success Coach (LSC) to design a personalized pathway that connects their high school learning to real university courses, campus experiences and future majors. Through this pathway, students explore majors, understand university expectations and build confidence while saving both time and money on the path to a degree.

Save time and tuition with early college credit

By earning college credits in high school through ASU Prep, students can reduce the time and cost* of a degree. Take a look at what’s possible:

• Students can take 2 tuition-free college-level courses (up to 6 college credits) per semester starting in 9th grade 
• 12 credits earned: Save approximately $4,800–$14,000 in tuition
• 24 credits earned: Save approximately $9,600–$27,500 in tuition
• 48 credits earned: Save approximately $19,000–$55,000 in tuition

A strong start makes all the difference: Elianna’s story

Elianna Haro arrived at university with momentum. As a graduate of ASU Prep Casa Grande, she earned 34 transferable ASU college credits while still in high school, entering college as a sophomore and already ahead on her degree.

Today, Elianna is a marketing major with a minor in communication, building on the academic foundation, resilience and confidence she developed through early access to ASU courses. With her sights set on a future in sports marketing, she’s proof that when students experience university-level learning early, they don’t just arrive at college prepared, they arrive ahead.
