Application requirements
Students interested in applying to KWS must meet the following academic requirements.
Minimum requirements
- GPA: 3.0 or higher
- Standardized testing: Proficient scores or higher
- High school students: Must be on track to graduate with at least six credits completed per high school year
- *12th grade students are admitted only after careful review of transcripts and a family meeting with a KWS Guide
Recommended preparation
- Experience in honors or gifted-level coursework

Your questions, answered
Students begin by completing the ASU Prep Digital enrollment form. During the application process, select the option indicating interest in Khan World School. An admissions advisor will then contact the family with additional application steps.
Students should have a minimum 3.0 GPA, proficient standardized test scores and be on track academically for their grade level. High school students should complete at least six credits per year toward graduation.
Honors or gifted-level coursework is recommended but not required. The admissions process considers a student’s academic readiness, curiosity and interest in collaborative learning.
Yes. Khan World School at ASU Prep serves students from many locations. Families can speak with an admissions advisor to learn more about eligibility and enrollment options.
- The tuition for full-time students who are Arizona residents will be paid for by the state at no cost to families.
- Arizona students paying tuition with ESA/scholarship funds will pay $8,250 each year.
- Students who live in the U.S., but outside Arizona, will pay $10,500 per year tuition.
- Students who live outside the U.S. will pay $13,700 per year.
- Tuition for all students does include the opportunity to take two university courses per semester and earn college credit.
- Scholarships may be available.
