Danielle Houseman, STEM Specialist at the academy, recently shared insights on The Morning Show about an exciting initiative that brings space exploration into the classroom. Through the Amateur Radio on the International Space Station (ARISS) program, ASU Prep Polytechnic is offering K–6 students a unique opportunity to engage with astronauts aboard theInternational Space Station (ISS). This spring, 10 students will be selected to ask live questions during a real-time radio contact, thanks to collaborations with the Superstition Amateur Radio Club.
