ASU Prep Math Fellowship

Dramatically Improve Math Performance

ASU Prep is committed to helping students falling behind in math and we’re partnering with schools around the county to provide effective math intervention. The ASU Prep Math Fellowship is an opportunity to put proven methods to work in your district.

Proven Results

Students in 15 partner districts have received ASU Prep math intervention strategies and went on to exceed state average growth rates after one year.

Grades skyrocketing as a result of effective math intervention.

ASU Prep Math Fellowship

  1. 2 weeks of Summer Teacher Training for Math Teachers in-person or virtual options utilizing ASU Prep Math Institute training series
  2. Year-round Community of Practice to share best practices with other teachers
  3. Professional Development / Coaching for 1 year for all Math Teachers (virtual, twice per month in small cohorts)
  4. First access to ASU’s MACS Intelligent Tutor for all Pre-Algebra learners, a sophisticated platform that personalizes tutoring for learners
  1. A full year of access to ASU Prep Digital’s entire suite of math courses and adaptive learning technology for middle and high school learners (up to 150 student seats per teacher)
  2. Training on data and reporting tools to track and share progress year-round
  3. Access to K–12 Innovation Alliance to discover other ways to advance outcomes for learners in innovative ways (school leaders invited to quarterly virtual meetings and conference at ASU in October 2023)
  4. First 20 schools to apply get 2 free tickets for Principal/Superintendent to attend ASU GSV in San Diego on April 17-19 (travel costs not included)

Who is eligible?

  • Schools and districts serving grades 8-12
  • All welcome to apply, preference giving for Title 1, Rural, or Tribal schools
  • Schools committed to improving outcomes in math for all learners

Value: $10,000 per secondary math teacher

Cost to Schools: $5,000 per secondary math teacher
*Schools pay up to 50% of the cost, philanthropic support is supporting this initiative to help reduce cost to schools.
