It was likely that at some point she got to share her lunch with the entire school; she was unselfishly giving. My favorite memory would have to be the initiations of my friendships. The memories from awkward hellos to field days & field trips in the same group and trying to contain our laughter together in a quiet class across the room.
Mr. Dershimer has been one of the best teachers I’ve had. His warm greetings in the mornings and the natural, open environment he creates on campus always made me feel like a plant who was well-watered and given gracious amounts of sunlight. And of course, without my family and my parents’ continuous hard work and contribution to my growing life, I wouldn’t be here. And for my friends and mentors in my neighborhood community, for Chris and Shabnam, I wouldn’t think and carry this energy I do without your guiding. Lastly, for The Great Beauty prevalent on this Earth and the energy He gives me to contribute to the betterment of the world. May my heart burn with loving kindness for all who may cross my path.
