Student-Centered Learning Is More Relevant Today

Hybrid learning is helping to change how we think of education and removes many of the barriers that have traditionally existed. Not only can it provide students with a greater degree of flexibility and freedom to choose how to learn, but it can also expand access to education.

Student Experience

The hybrid program provides support and instruction on a flexible, as-needed basis while students work through the course curriculum and content at home and in person, with teacher support. This opportunity will allow students to learn and participate in project-based learning from campus in a small cohort three days a week with the support of a Personalized Learning Advisor, who will aid in mentoring students and supporting their goals. Students will work from home two days a week, with live lessons from their digital teachers and their Learning Success Coach’s support.

Personalized Approach

The Personalized Learning Advisor (PLA) serves as their personal academic trainer to help guide them towards their own learning goals. Students learn at their own pace, level, and various styles with 1:1 mentorship and guidance in every subject. The PLA works strategically with the digital teachers and the students to ensure scholars are set up for academic success whenever and wherever they learn.

“One Saturday I noticed that my son was down in the dumps. I asked him why. He sighed and then told me that he wished that he could go to school. He talked about his friends, his teachers, arts and crafts, PE, reading, and STEM. This has never happened before.”
