Giving Tuesday

« Back  |

Each year, on the Tuesday after Black Friday and Cyber Monday, there is a special day to support non-profits like ASU Preparatory Academy. This day is called Giving Tuesday, and it’s an annual day of philanthropy to support nonprofits and their communities. This year, the ASU Prep community participated in Giving Tuesday to benefit our K-12 Sun Devils with the learning opportunities and experiences that will benefit them the most.

ASU Prep was launched nearly 20 years ago to bring new models of educational success to all learners, broaden college access and help students get ready for the jobs of the future. Our work is making a difference:

  • ASU Prep Digital: #1 performing online K-12 school serving students statewide*
  • ASU Prep Phoenix High School: Top 10% for college going for low-income students**
  • ASU Prep Polytechnic High School: Top 10% enrollment rate at 4-year colleges***

ASU Prep receives state funding for operations, but relies on community support to supplement our students’ college-going experiences, clubs, play areas and athletics. When families make a donation to ASU Prep, they directly benefit students and may choose a school, program, or activity to support. Because ASU Prep is a nonprofit, contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by state law and donations by Arizona residents may qualify for a tax credit (please consult a qualified tax adviser with questions about your personal tax deduction eligibility).

We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our community. Your support allows us to continue to provide exceptional educational opportunities for our students. As we look to the future, we are excited about the possibilities and committed to making a lasting impact on the lives of our Sun Devils.
