When will we know the exact campus location?
At this time, we cannot give the exact location as we are still in negotiations. Our priority is to secure a facility with adequate space for our student body and to keep it as close to the current location as possible to minimize disruptions. We’re in the final stages of securing a nearby location—within 10 minutes of our current Fillmore Street campus—that will offer our current programs plus exciting new opportunities and modern upgrades.

Yes, this relocation is permanent and intended to provide long-term stability for our school community.

What will the facilities look like at the new location?
We’re excited about what’s ahead, and as soon as we finalize the location, we’ll share details about the campus layout, classroom spaces and student amenities.

What will be the benefits to faculty and families?
While the site is still being finalized, our goal is to align the new campus with our academic model, creating a space that supports high-quality teaching, student engagement and long-term sustainability. We’re seeking a facility that meets our capacity needs, supports collaboration and allows us to deliver an even stronger educational experience for students and staff.

Will there be aftercare?
Once the plans are finalized, we will work directly with after-school service providers to ensure a seamless transition to our families who utilize after-school care. We’ll keep families updated on those logistics as soon as they’re available.

How can I get regular updates on plans for the 2026-2027 school year?
There will be a section with updates on building plans and opportunities to meet and discuss or bring questions for the 2026–2027 school year in the newsletter that goes out to all ASU Prep Downtown Phoenix families every other Friday.

We welcome your thoughts and questions—email us anytime at . Common questions and feedback will be summarized and addressed in our updates, as well as on this webpage. Additionally, we’ll schedule informational sessions as needed and announce those dates in the newsletter and on this webpage.

Are the current ASU Prep teachers moving to the new location?
ASU Prep Phoenix teachers are excited about the new location, and teachers will be offered positions in the new program for next year.

Will our ASU Prep Phoenix programs continue in the 2025-2026 school year?
Yes, the Dual Language Immersion, Gifted, Next Education Workforce, and High School College Going programs are fully funded and resourced and will continue without interruption in the coming school year.

Will there be parent meetings offered in Spanish?
Yes, during the next group of meetings in October, there will be a Spanish Only Parent Meeting, we can also arrange for translation for in person meetings.

What is the school doing to ensure the new building is safe and secure?
Safety is a top priority in selecting the new site. We will transfer the Raptor Visitor Management System to help ensure the safety of our students and staff to the new building. We will evaluate the site for safety using the guidance from the I Love You Guys Foundation. Any improvements needed to meet our safety standards will be made prior to school start.
