Curriculum

Our preschool program is designed to meet each child’s individual needs. Our program recognizes that readiness in children varies both within and among themselves. The focus is on the development of the whole child in a language rich environment. Problem solving and child-initiated activities are promoted through the use of developmentally appropriate practices. Every child has the opportunity to participate in a variety of active learning experiences to foster cognitive, social emotional and physical growth. Educational experiences for preschool students are based on the understanding that young children learn through socio-dramatic and constructive play as well direct instruction. The preschool classroom is an environment that promotes independence, fosters decision-making, and encourages active involvement.

Through the Amateur Radio on the International Space Station (ARISS) program, ASU Prep Polytechnic is offering K–6 students a unique opportunity to engage with astronauts aboard theInternational Space Station (ISS). This spring, 10 students will be selected to ask live questions during a real-time radio contact, thanks to collaborations with the Superstition Amateur Radio Club.
