Getting started with ASU Prep

  • What makes ASU Prep different from other high schools for college preparation?

    ASU Prep offers personalized learning, real university courses and early access to Arizona State University resources. Students gain college credit in high school, hands-on experiences and guidance from Learning  Success Coaches to prepare for success in college and careers.

  • How early can my student start earning college credits at ASU Prep?

    Students can start earning tuition-free college credit as early as 9th grade, giving them a head start on college while still in high school.

  • What types of programs does ASU Prep offer?

    ASU Prep offers a variety of programs ranging from fully immersive in-person learning to full-time digital programs.

    ASU Prep Academy: College-prep public schools serving grades PreK–12. In-person, project-based learning 4 days per week. One day of flexible learning each week where students choose from programs delivered on campus, at home or at other designated locations. No cost for full-time students living in Arizona.

    ASU Prep Digital: Full-time online public school serving grades K–12. Students work from anywhere with highly qualified online teachers providing live lessons and personalized feedback. No cost for full-time students living in Arizona.

    ASU Prep Tempe powered by The Levitt Lab: Mastery-based, hybrid school program where students in grades 9–12 meet on the ASU Prep Tempe campus to participate in seminars, collaborate with peers on projects and attend ASU courses. Students will study on campus at least 4 days a week and enjoy flexible scheduling for their independent learning time. No cost for full-time students living in Arizona.

    ASU Prep Global Academy: Part-time and Full-time online, private school serving grades 6–12. Students work at their own pace from anywhere in the world with highly qualified online teachers and engaging curriculum. *Tuition rates may apply.

    ASU Prep Digital+: Hybrid school program where digital students meet on an ASU campus or nearby location to participate in collaborative, project-based learning and take ASU courses for college credit. Students choose from 1–3 days on-campus and work from home for the remainder of the week. No cost for full-time students living in Arizona.

    Khan World School @ASU Prep: Full-time online school serving grades K–12. Students in this mastery-based honors program work online from anywhere, mastering core knowledge and diving deeply into society’s most challenging problems with support from peers and world-class learning guides. No cost for full-time students living in Arizona. Tuition may apply for students outside Arizona.

  • How does ASU Prep prepare students for college success?

    Through a combination of college-level courses, skill-building programs, mentorship, internships and structured guidance, ASU Prep equips students with the academic and life skills needed for college readiness.

  • Can students explore their potential majors while in high school?

    Yes. ASU Prep students can design personalized College Pathways with their Learning Success Coaches and counselor, exploring majors and career interests while earning college credit in their chosen fields.
