Culture & community
We use cultural knowledge as a scaffold to connect what students know to new concepts and expand community service opportunities for students to apply their learning in meaningful ways.
We want students to pursue their passions, achieve their goals, and build a lifelong love of learning. To do that we’re building an inclusive culture around robust student representation, the celebration of student’s unique life experiences, and meaningful community engagement.
ASU Prep Pilgrim Rest is a STEM-integrated performing arts elementary and middle school built on the principle that all kids, regardless of ability, identity, or prior opportunity, can develop the foundations and confidence needed to pursue an enriching and empowering career in the arts.
They also love technology, engineering and math. We’re preparing them for innovative careers of the future, so we make STEM come to life with hands on activities. As the first K–12 school in the world to have a Dreamscape virtual reality learning pod, we don’t just bring abstracts concepts down to earth, we transport students to far off planets and back in time to see history unfold firsthand.
