ASU Preparatory Academy aims to be the highest performing school in Arizona.
Our youngest students develop a passion for music through regular classes that explore sound and music. They build literacy in various styles, progressing to vocal technique, violin instruction, and instrument care.
As they advance, students choose to play a string instrument (violin, viola, cello) or sing in a choir, alternating each semester. They engage in diverse historical repertoires and attend group lessons twice a week.
Older students delve into songwriting, producing, and theater, focusing on an instrument of their choice. They collaborate on a fall class album and a spring theatrical performance, with weekly 1:1 lessons preparing them for their elementary capstone, celebrating their identities as young musicians.
Students will participate in art weekly in a dedicated art space with a focus on learning a wide variety of art mediums and techniques.
